The six-member group SixTONES—Jesse, Taiga Kyomoto, Hokuto Matsumura, Juri Tanaka, Yugo Kochi, and Shintaro Morimoto—held a concert on March 29 at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa as part of their nationwide arena tour MILESixTONES. Dumpling Box brings you a report on the daytime performance, during which their highly anticipated stadium tour was announced.
This tour, consisting of 50 performances across 11 cities nationwide —the largest number in SixTONES’ history— is their first arena tour since Kansei no Hōsoku in 2023. It shares its title with the compilation album MILESixTONES -Best Tracks- and represents the “journey” SixTONES has taken so far, as well as the “signs” guiding them toward the future, following their sixth debut anniversary on January 22, 2026.
Just before the show began, Yokohama Arena was filled with fans shouting “SixTONES.” After the lights went out, the concert opened with a striking performance: the members, dressed in coordinated gold and black outfits featuring long coats and shimmering or decorated garments that conveyed a sense of luxury and strength, made their entrance on a gondola from a height of eight meters while sparks flew. They began performing their debut song “Imitation Rain“, composed by YOSHIKI. As Jesse began singing the opening English verse saying “Imitation Rain,” the fans immediately erupted in cheers.
With emotions still running high, they moved into the second song, “DRAMA” characterized by its R&B sound, completely changing the atmosphere and presenting a more sensual side of SixTONES. During this performance, they used a moving stage that traveled across the arena without taking up fixed space, allowing for a larger audience capacity. This enabled them to perform choreography while the stage itself moved, without needing to walk around.
The excitement continued without pause as they followed with “Telephone” and “WHIP THAT,” prompting the audience to raise their penlights high into the air. The members moved from the outer catwalk to the main stage, waving to fans along the way. Shouts of joy rang out from all over the venue as fans were thrilled by the close-up interaction.
After this intense opening, the members appeared in more varied outfits in neutral and warm tones (beige, brown, and black), featuring casual pieces such as T-shirts, light jackets, and loose or patterned pants. They then performed songs by their seniors, including “THE D-MOTION” by KAT-TUN and “Battery” by SMAP, demonstrating that they have not forgotten their roots, back when they did not yet have their own songs and performed those of their seniors. While maintaining the style of those earlier performances, they added the depth they now possess as SixTONES, elevating the stage to an even more compelling level. These songs are also included in their best album.
They then performed many of their singles’ A-sides. First, they moved to the center stage to perform their second single and the opening theme of the anime Fugō Keiji Balance: Unlimited, “NAVIGATOR“. In “Watashi”, the staging evoked the song’s music video, and the expressiveness of each member, active in dramas, films, and theater, was evident throughout. Hokuto began singing a solo, and the six members captivated the audience with their expressive use of chairs and bouquets. The heart-wrenching ballad, combined with the spectacular visuals made possible by the arena setting, created a sense of unity throughout the venue.
They continued with their sixth single, “Mascara,” composed by Daiki Tsuneta of King Gnu. For “Kyomei“, the opening theme for Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, Jesse and Taiga began by singing part of the song in acappella, which allowed their voices to resonate throughout the venue without any instrumental accompaniment.
This was followed by a medley of a-sides, during which they moved through the stands on carts called “Baby 6″. Over the course of nine songs (“Boku ga boku janai mitai da,” “NEW ERA,” “GONG,” “Koko ni Kaette Kite,” “Futari,” “Good Luck!,” “Barrier,” “BOYZ,” and “Neiro”), they traveled around the arena providing fan service. During “Koko ni Kaette Kite,” the carts stopped at the far end of the stands, where they performed the chorus without moving, creating a special moment for fans seated in the furthest areas. It was a concert where no one was left behind, allowing even those in less favorable seats to have unforgettable experiences.
After the medley, they performed “New World,” a song beloved by fans. The track, which expresses the determination to move forward toward the future together, combines freshness and dynamism, with the six members’ personalities overlapping to create a deeply resonant sound.
This was followed by the MC segment, with all six members present. Taiga shared an anecdote from earlier in the stands: “Usually I’m the one giving fan service, but a fan gave fan service to me, so I didn’t know how to react,” which prompted laughter from the audience.
During the MC, the group announced their first-ever stadium tour, set to take place this fall. The audience immediately erupted into loud cheers, and Kochi cheerfully declared, “We’ll be on tour all year!” The newly revealed schedule includes six performances across three major stadiums in Japan, beginning at Ajinomoto Stadium on September 19 and 20, with both concerts starting at 5:30 p.m. It will then continue at Yanmar Stadium Nagai on November 7 and 8, where both shows are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. The tour will conclude at Nissan Stadium on November 21 and 22, with both final performances beginning at 4:30 p.m.
After the MC, they performed their latest double A-side single “Ichibyo / Rebellion,” released on March 18. In “Rebellion”, the theme song for the Nippon TV drama “Punch-Drunk Woman” in which Jesse appears, the group showcased SixTONES’ signature wild and cool charm. In contrast, “Ichibyo”, the Nippon TV support song for athletes in 2026, delivered a powerful and uplifting energy that seemed to embrace the listener. The final moment, with all six voices layered together, created a striking scene symbolizing the song’s message.
They went on to perform “Violet”, a track produced by Taiga, as well as “TOP SECRET” and their 11th single “CREAK“. Although released in 2023, this marked the first time “CREAK” had been performed on tour, making it a particularly special moment. They continued with ““Laugh” in the LIFE,” energizing the audience, followed by “PARTY PEOPLE” and “Shine with U,” where the members performed a very cute choreography and smiled at one another, showing that SixTONES can pull off any style.
Then, they went backstage to change outfits when a light show set to the instrumental version of “Bring The Bass”, a B-side from their latest single, filled the arena. When the tour began in January in Fukuoka, this song had not yet been revealed, so when it was first unveiled in the nonSTop digeST of the new single, fans were thrilled to discover that what they had thought was simply an interlude in the concert was actually SixTONES’ next song.
The concert reached its climax with all six members standing atop a massive moving platform called “Mother 6,” mesmerizing the audience. Their outfits were coordinated in red and black tones, featuring long coats and flowing layers, paired with fitted dark pants and wide-brim hats. The style was theatrical and elegant, with a western-inspired influence, incorporating mixed textures and shimmering details designed to stand out under the stage lighting.
On “Mother 6″, they performed high-energy songs such as “S.I.X”, “DON-DON-DON”, and “Outrageous”, followed by Junior-era songs like “IN THE STORM”, “Jungle”, and “RAM-PAM-PAM”.
During “Amazing!!!!!!,” the main stage featured numerous special effects, including flames, sparks, and stage effects, making it one of the most iconic moments of the concert.
They concluded the main part of the concert with “Stargaze”, composed by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS. At the beginning, Jesse called out, “Let’s keep seeing many different landscapes together, the six of us,” bringing the performance to a close with a message that hinted at the future ahead.
The encore began with “Kokkara”, followed by “Kono Hoshi no Hikari,” a staple of SixTONES concerts, where fans sing part of the song a cappella. Then, before the final song, Juri said, “I’d like you all to sing this song with us”, making it sound like a ballad—but he was clearly just teasing the audience, as “HANDS UP,” a high-energy, party-style track driven by heavy beats and chants that call on the crowd to raise their hands and get hyped, suddenly began to play.
At this concert, they performed all the a-sides from their singles, allowing the audience to experience the group’s journey over their six years since debuting. It also gave fans who had not been there from the beginning the chance to enjoy songs that had not been performed in years.
Throughout the concert, all six members remained on stage together. There were no duets, solo performances, or split MC segments. This detail highlighted the group’s strong unity and their identity as six.
The philosophy of “leaving no one behind” was also reflected in the stage production. In addition to using the central aisle and the perimeter of the arena, they incorporated elements such as the massive 13-meter-high “Mother 6” platform shaped like the number six, and the “Baby 6” carts, also designed with the number six, to bridge the distance with the audience through a performance that reached every corner of the venue.
Overall, MILESixTONES proved to be more than just a concert: it was a reflection of the group’s six-year journey and the bond that defines them as a group. From powerful performances to carefully crafted staging that reached every corner of the venue, SixTONES delivered a show that balanced spectacle with sincerity. By revisiting their past through a-sides and senior songs while embracing new challenges and future milestones, the group created an experience that resonated deeply with fans.
As they now set their sights on their first stadium tour, SixTONES continue to move forward together: stronger, closer, and unmistakably united as six.
