Kaito Takahashi’s Graphic Universe Debuts in “Fushigi na Celeru-ten created by Kaito Takahashi”

As a member of the acclaimed duo King & Prince, Kaito Takahashi has proved time and again that he is not only an exceptionally gifted dancer and versatile actor, but also one of the most creatively driven figures of his generation. This time, however, his creative stage won’t be a concert stadium or a TV studio —it will be art galleries across Japan.

Get ready to step into a world where imagination runs free. Kaito has officially announced his very first solo art exhibition: “Fushigi na Seroru-ten created by Kaito Takahashi” (The Mysterious Celeru Exhibition created by Kaito Takahashi). Designed as an immersive event, this showcase promises to turn contemporary art into an engaging, heartwarming sensory playground.

At the heart of it all stands an adorable creature named Celeru —a original character birthed from Kaito’s own mind that has quietly stolen the hearts of thousands across social media. Here is everything you need to know about this major artistic milestone touring six cities across Japan.

Who is “Celeru”? The Mysterious Creature Born on Social Media

To truly appreciate the genius surrounding this exhibition, one must first get to know its star: Celeru. At first glance, it is impossible not to feel an instant connection. Celeru is a soft, fluffy creature featuring large ears, bird-like feet, and big, expressive eyes that always look as though they are holding back a tear. That charming blend of nostalgia, tenderness, and emotional depth makes the character immediately endearing to anyone who encounters it.

Seroru’s story began in 2024, when Kaito first introduced the character on his official social media channels. What started as a personal artistic experiment rapidly grew into a cherished universe for fans. Kaito seamlessly blended daily real-life photography with digital illustrations of Celeru, creating a whimsical world where fantasy met reality. Over time, Celeru took on a life of its own through artistic collaborations and daily posts, becoming a comforting presence for followers. Now, that very  creature is stepping off digital screens and into physical spaces on an unprecedented scale.

Beyond a Gallery: An Amusement Park for the Senses

If you are imagining a quiet, rigid art gallery with plain white walls and strictly silent rooms, think again! Kaito has crafted this project as an interactive, experiential journey designed to feel like a miniature amusement park.

The venue will bring together a wide array of artistic mediums:

  • Original Illustrations & Sketches: Hand-drawn artwork by Kaito highlighting Celeru‘s visual evolution.
  • 3D Sculptures & Physical Figures: Full-scale installations bringing Celeru out of the paper and into three dimensions.
  • Spatial & Audio Design: Dynamic environmental setups engineered to trigger curiosity and joy in visitors of all ages.

To bring this vision to life at the highest level, Kaito teamed up with renowned creative collectives:

  1. SAMPO Inc.: A cutting-edge collective renowned for their work spanning architecture, acoustic design, and video installations. They led the spatial production and ambient soundscapes, ensuring every room feels truly enchanting.
  2. moi.: An animation and graphic design studio. They spearheaded the art direction for the exhibition’s key visual, promotional video production, and the intricate design of the official merchandise line.

Exclusive Merchandise: Take a Piece of Celeru Home

For fans and collectors alike, the official exhibition store will be an absolute highlight. Kaito personally supervised the design details of the product lineup, which features items adorned with Kaito‘s hand-drawn illustrations, including apparel, premium stationery, everyday lifestyle goods, and exclusive items showcasing the dreamy key visual depicting Kaito and Celeru coexisting in a fantasy world.
