Following the recent announcement made by SixTONES during their celebration of their 10th naming anniversary, we will be posting a 10-day countdown to introduce some of the songs that will be available for streaming on 17th May 2025!
Taiga Kyomoto landed his first lead role in the drama series “Tsukanoma no Ichika” and for this drama, SixTONES released the song “Futari.” The song was a mellow ballad that fit the theme of the drama series.

We asked SixTONES fans about their impression of the song and how it reflects their maturing career:
“「ふたり」 is a song that showcased the group’s vocals and reflected their maturity. The lyrics itself is already touching but SixTONES singing it brought the song completely into life. It is a song that tells us that true love is real, simple, full of hope, full of ups and downs, and even loss.
As it is not only a SixTONES song but also the OST of the drama Tsukanoma no Ichika, I’m glad that finally it will be available for download and streaming. Now, SixTONES fans and fans of the drama can both enjoy the song anytime, anywhere.” 💎 nochomiryoudesu
“The fragility of the song, which captures only the time they have together, is expressed beautifully. SixTONES, who are always full of energy on variety shows, YouTube, and regular radio programs, are strangely charming when they sing fragile and emotional songs such as this one.” 💎 TiduAura
“First impression of it when I first hear it: It’s really filled with emotions right from the start of the song, and it feels like an anime OST for a romance genre, and that makes it so cozy. Or even for a drama! Their vocals are perfect for these kinds of songs, as is their control and emotional harmonies. It’s a perfect song to take a walk to in the spring air too, could it be love in the air? Who know, and the lyrics also fit so well into this setting. 💎xcryangelx
