Live Report: Travis Japan Concert Tour 2025 VIIsual Bangkok

After traveling across continents and captivating audiences in cities from Los Angeles to Taipei, Travis Japan brought their long-awaited world tour to its final stop in Bangkok, Thailand.

The group, known for their dynamic performances and global ambition since debuting under STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, marked this milestone with an unforgettable night at Thunderdome Muang Thong Thani, where fans from across Asia gathered to celebrate their journey.

For this special report, Dumpling Box had the honor of having the lovely Nisa, who attended the concert, capture the energy, emotion, and connection that defined Travis Japanโ€™s final world tour performance.

When Travis Japan announced their second world tour, I was overjoyed to know that Bangkok was on the list once again. And it wasnโ€™t simply because Bangkok is closer to my home country, Malaysia, but it also means that Travis Japanโ€™s fans from around South East Asia are given a special place to gather and experience Travis Japan closer to our homes.

More details for the tour were revealed, and the venue in Bangkok was announced to be the Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani. What this new venue meant was that they have upgraded from the hall-sized venue in Union Hall last year to an arena that has tripled in capacity. And yet, even with the larger arena, it was announced that the tickets had sold out! Seeing this overwhelming support filled me with joy. It really feels like I was witnessing a significant step in their journey and a milestone in Travis Japanโ€™s growth for their international activities.

Journey to the concert venue

I arrived in Bangkok on the day of the concert. Despite the flight delay and seeing the dark and heavy clouds that welcomed us, as soon as we walked along the flyover heading to the venue, we could see the individual posters of Travis Japan members on the arch of the roof at Thunder Dome. It was surreal. Just seeing their faces against the sky, larger than life, filled me with happiness and disbelief: Theyโ€™re really here. That walk across the flyover transformed into something more than just a path; it became a moment of arrival, a shared monumental checkpoint for every fan. Many fans, including me, paused there to take photos, staring in awe at the view, or to just breathe in the moment. Even before stepping into the concert grounds, we were already part of something special.

Atmosphere Before The Concert

The moment we stepped into the venue area, it felt like we were entering Travis Japanโ€™s carnival. The entire space was alive with excitement. From food stalls, official merchandise booths, a large Travis Japan panel that became a beloved photo spot, and designated zones for fans to gather.

The buzz in the air was palpable. Laughter, music from Travis Japanโ€™s latest albumโ€”VIIsualโ€” blasted from the speakers, and the chatter of fans from all over filled the surrounding area of the venue. It truly felt like we had come together for something we all love.

One of the first things that caught my eye was the line of food stalls, each cleverly themed around Travis Japanโ€™s songs. It wasn’t just food; it was served to become part of the experience.

Booths available at the venue were;

Food stalls at the Travis Japan concert venue in Bangkok, featuring themed items like 'Okie Dokie Burger', 'Candy Kiss Ice Cream', and 'Would You Like One?' ramen. Staff are seen preparing food behind counters, with signage visible.

Would You Like One? Ramen: A ramen stall inspired by Travis Japanโ€™s single of the same name.ย  It was released in connection with Gentaโ€™s hit animated movie, Dream Animals: THE MOVIE, where he voiced Lion-kun. In the music video, the members even ran their own ramen shop, and this stall brought that concept to life. Just seeing it made me smile.

Okie Dokie Burger: Named after one of Travis Japanโ€™s most beloved songs, this booth served classic feel-good burgers. The idea matched the song, a beloved food that is also satisfying.

Candy Kiss Ice Cream: This ice cream was as sweet as the name suggests. There were several flavors, and they came in an adorable paper ring inspired by the groupโ€™s tiger aesthetic. My friends and I managed to get the coconut flavor, which was creamy and smooth and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we just missed the Thai Tea flavor, which had already sold out by the time we arrived!

A close-up photo of two ice cream cones with white ice cream, held in front of the Thunder Dome venue. Two beverage bottles with purple labels are visible in the background, with fans lining up to enter the venue.

Say I Do Cafรฉ: A drink stand with beverages you couldnโ€™t say no to, true to its name. The branding was cute, and the menu offered refreshing options that matched the warm weather perfectly.

The seating area was packed with fans, all enjoying their meals, chatting, taking photos, and soaking in the pre-concert energy. Despite arriving a little later than planned, we still got to try some of the themed treats, and it was such a fun way to ease into the concert mood.

This whole setup outside the venue added something special. It wasnโ€™t just a concert; to me, it felt like a celebration of Travis Japanโ€™s identity and creativity. You could really feel the care put into every detail, making the experience even more memorable.

The event area was thoughtfully organized, making it easy for fans to enjoy the pre-concert experience without having to wait in long lines. Stations for ticket exchange, merchandise booths, food stalls, photo spots, and fan project banners were all strategically placed to avoid congestion.

Itโ€™s no surprise that the longest line was for taking photos with the large Travis Japan group panel, a popular highlight of the event. (Unfortunately, after putting off taking pictures due to the long line, in the end I forgot to take a picture of the panel myself *cries*)

While I went to exchange my tickets, my friend queued up at the merchandise booth, which helped us save time. For the Bangkok leg of the concert, the goods available included some brand-new items like a T-shirt, phone straps, and stickers. Familiar items from the Japan tour, such as the TJ cap and penlight, were also available for purchase.

Thanks to the excellent planning by the organizers, the entire area felt lively yet well-coordinated. Fans had plenty of time to explore, participate in fan projects, grab some food, and soak in the atmosphere before the show began. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience all around.

Entering the venue

Our entry to the concert was incredibly seamless. VIP ticket holders were the first to enter, receiving a special 10-minute greeting from Travis Japan, which was an exciting experience to see them and interact with them in their โ€œregular clothesโ€ just before the concert started.

Afterward, general admission ticket holders entered according to their assigned gates, with staff ensuring everything moved quickly and efficiently. Bag checks were conducted to ensure safety and prevent items that could obstruct fans’ viewsโ€”like selfie sticks or large signsโ€”from entering the venue. Fans made their way to their designated seats without any issues, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement as everyone settled in, eagerly awaiting the concert to begin.

The Concert

The energy in the arena was absolutely high as fans eagerly shouted โ€œTORAJA! TORAJA!โ€โ€”the nickname for Travis Japan. I joined in and waved my penlights. The chants reverberated through the Thunder Dome. In response, a voice echoed throughout the venue, introducing the members’ names with a powerful, dramatic buildup. Their names, made from LEDs on stage, lit up at the mention of every member, and the crowd erupted in excitement as the members made their grand entrance.

They kicked things off with their upbeat track “Crazy Crazy,” and the concert began with an explosive burst of energy. At this moment, I was staring at them, in awe, my eyes refusing to believe that they were right in front of me. They appeared dressed in sleek black and red gakuran (school uniform) outfits, a theme similar to the “Crazy Crazy” MV. I noticed that each member was styling the uniform in their unique way, showcasing their individuality while keeping with the theme. Their fashion choices, while unified, added a personal touch to each member, enhancing their already captivating stage presence.

From the moment they stepped onto the stage, they hyped up the crowd with their infectious enthusiasm. Their movements were synchronized but also playful, with a perfect balance of sharp footwork and whimsical, free-flowing choreography. Watching them dance is always such a joy; it was impossible for me not to get excited.

Midway through the song, the members ran towards the center stage, further igniting our cheers. The shift in their formation, coupled with the energetic atmosphere, made it clear that this was going to be a concert to remember.

After the lively dance of “Crazy Crazy,” the group jumped straight into “Love Tag.” This performance had a unique charm; the choreography was smooth yet intense, with some flirtatious moves that perfectly matched the mood of the song. We went wild, and the loudest moment when Umi screamed โ€œLOVE TAG!!โ€ at the top of his lungs. That shout has become a signal for all of us to scream right back at them.

Despite the intense and complex choreography of these songs, the members were singing to us live, changing the tones to match the energy of the venue. Their vocals remained stable and strong. Itโ€™s not easy to pull off such precise dancing while keeping the vocals on point, but to do it so consistently is one of Travis Japanโ€™s amazing charms as a group.

Right after striking the final pose for “Love Tag,” Umi kept the energy alive by leading us into an interactive call-and-response. He shouted, โ€œWatch you level up!โ€ and the fans responded in unison with, โ€œPlay you like a Game Boy!โ€. A catchy chant that we repeated together in different rhythms, creating an energetic interaction between the group and the audience. A lot of Travis Japanโ€™s songs have interactions like this, which makes me think that they really value the interactions and connection with their audience.

This back-and-forth with the fans seamlessly transitioned into Travis Japanโ€™s signature group introduction of Umi’s, โ€œJust dance together, we areโ€ฆ!!โ€ And with passionate conviction, he said, โ€œTravis Japan!!โ€

That cue marked the explosive start of “LEVEL UP,” one of their leading album tracks and now a staple of their concert setlist.

Without skipping a beat, they launched into the performance, showing no signs of fatigue. “LEVEL UP” kept the energy high with its game-themed sound, vibrant lighting, and playful, uplifting lyrics that perfectly reflect Travis Japanโ€™s identity. It’s a song that, within the lyrics, carries the groupโ€™s name and spirit boldly. The title and theme of the song feel like both a celebration and a mission statement for the group to keep on Levelling Up! Every time I listen to the song, it also gives me a push to level up!

They moved back to the main stage with the beat echoing in the venue, as they were cheering โ€œTJ! TJ!โ€ with us. This version of “BO$$Y” was a real treat, a fresh remix by โ˜†Taku Takahashi of m-flo that was only released in the standard edition of the VIIsual album. The track turned into a full-blown dance anthem, and the stage transformed into a club-like atmosphere with flashing lights and thumping bass.

The beat dropped, and on top of his lungs, Machu shouted, โ€œTravis Japan World Tour 2025 VIIsual, letโ€™s get started!!โ€ And they began to dance again while we cheered in excitement. What really stood out to me was the brand-new choreography designed just for this remix. It was sharp and fast-paced, showcasing their technical precision and group synchronization.

The lights dimmed, and a video interlude began, inspired by their life together in the US.

On screen, the six members of Travis Japan were shown spending a beautiful evening chatting and laughing while barbecuing. A little later, Noel was shown a message that the group was waiting for him. He later took his bag, and we watched as he proceeded through the door with the implication that he would soon join the members.

That moment really struck me. Noel had only just returned to the group after nearly six months on hiatus. Watching it left me with a bittersweet feeling, and I realized just how much I truly adore these seven people. It was a joy being in the venue with them. More than anything, I wanted to treasure this concert and make one of the best memories together.

The video interlude didnโ€™t last long, and it means that they have taken merely a few minutes to change. Another trademark of STARTO idols is their ability to change costumes in record time. When the members reappeared, they were dressed in dazzling white jackets paired with matching hats, their outfits sparkling under the stage lights.

The next performance began with a jazzy theme, a style that suits Travis Japan so perfectly. Noel was the first to appear, carrying a lavishly decorated standing microphone. Throughout the performance, the mic was passed from member to member, adding a theatrical flair to the staging. The whole number felt like a short musical, with each member moving in sync with dramatic expression and elegance.

Suddenly, the stage darkened. The members performed a striking โ€œfinger dance,โ€ where only their fingertips glowed with purple light. The precision of their movements made it look as if tiny fireworks were bursting in the air, each gesture sharp and perfectly timed. It was a captivating display of both creativity and skill, and it left us in awe.

One thing Travis Japan always excels at in their concerts is flow; every transition feels seamless. The jazzy theme continued perfectly into the next number. When the members tossed their white hats to the side of the stage, it marked the beginning of โ€œTokyo Crazy Night,โ€ a song infused with the same jazzy vibe.

This number gave Machu the spotlight, fittingly so, as the song was originally made for Tokyo Camoflauge, starring him as the lead. In a swift but cute moment, Machuโ€™s hat refused to leave the stage, as if wanting to take the spotlight, and landed near Shizu. Without breaking character, Shizu smoothly picked it up mid-dance and tossed it away, a quick and professional response that showed how well Travis Japan handles unexpected moments.

Machuโ€™s powerful vocals shone brilliantly throughout the song, while the choreography highlighted his long arms and beautiful fingers. The most striking moment came when the spotlight focused on him during the line โ€œoboreru madeโ€(โ€œuntil Iโ€™m drowningโ€), visually emphasizing the songโ€™s theme of being consumed by love. It was a performance that balanced both strength and delicate expression, leaving a strong impression. This is one of my favourite Travis Japan songs. It reminds me of the drama and how beautifully this song complements it.

The music slowed down, giving them and the concert a chance to cool down. The next song was โ€œWhiskey and Tonic,โ€ a piece with a relaxed tone yet still carrying a jazzy feel. The members walked gracefully around the stage as they sang, occasionally exchanging smiles and eye contact that fit the songโ€™s tender atmosphere.

The song itself holds a special meaning, as it was written by Machu, who described in his words how a city becomes more beautiful, how days become brighter, all because of the love received from someone dear. That feeling of gratitude and quiet romance filled the air as they performed.

During the song, one of the highlights came from Shime and Shizu. The two shared a cute moment, locking eyes before gently pressing their foreheads together, which instantly set off a wave of screams from us fans.

As the performance came to a close, each member stepped off the stage one by one after finishing their lines, leaving the spotlight behind them and allowing the mood of the ballad to linger.

Noel delivered his final lines beautifully, and just as his voice faded, a white sheer curtain suddenly dropped. That moment alone sent a thrill through the venue; fans were letting out noises of excitement. The curtain was the signal that one of Travis Japanโ€™s most anticipated (and truly lethal for fans) songs was about to begin: “Rush.

Behind the curtain, the members appeared again in their sparkling white jackets, but this time worn boldly with nothing underneath. The stage lights reflected off the fabric, making them shine even brighter as the music kicked in. The track was built around autotune effects, paired with contemporary dance; it was an unexpected but stunning combination.

What always stood out most to me was how naturally Travis Japan handled the shift. Just moments earlier, they had been performing hip hop, jazzy numbers, and even heartfelt ballads, yet here they were, gliding into contemporary just as effortlessly. Their ability to move seamlessly between hip hop, jazz, and contemporary styles is one of the things that makes them special as a group, and this section of the concert was a perfect example of that versatility in skills.

The climax of the song arrived with Gentaโ€™s soaring line, โ€œ’Cause I am in need!โ€ His powerful delivery cut through the autotune and echoed across the hall, sending shivers. It was a high point that showcased not just their dance but also their vocal strength. Just before the lights dimmed, all tops were off, but the sheer curtains created just enough distance as well as intimacy; it was truly a beautiful performance (and of course, we screamed)

Torakko Overseas Debut!

Just a few weeks ago, Avalon, the organiser of the concert, had hinted about โ€œTorakkoโ€ on their official account, but even then, I couldnโ€™t bring myself to believe it. Not until the moment those white tigers appeared one by one.

For those who might not know, Torakko are moving trolleys that Travis Japan uses to travel around the venue and get closer to fans. The name Torakko is a playful twist on the Japanese word torokko (trolley), changed to tora (tiger) because of its tiger-shaped design. The tiger has become a symbol closely associated with Travis Japan, after all, their name Travis (or Toravisu in Japanese pronunciation) includes tora, meaning โ€œtiger.โ€

Travis Japan have been using Torakko since their debut concert, but this was the very first time they brought them out for an overseas show. I was really happy. I had only ever seen them in DVDs before, so seeing them up close felt surreal. They looked even cuter and sturdier in person!

The group updates the Torakko design every year, almost like giving a game character a new skin. This time, the tigers were painted white with black stripes, matching the tiger motif that has represented Travis Japan since their debut. Torakko is truly a creative way to move around the venue. Giving them names and characters also adds so much value to what could just be plain trolleys.

ย Travis Japan was creating their own beloved mascots.

DRIVIN’ ME CRAZY” was a new addition to Travis Japanโ€™s world tour setlist, and it brought a refreshing change of pace to the concert. Just before it began, the members reappeared on stage in casual outfits, simple T-shirts, and jeans, which instantly shifted the mood to something more relaxed.

The members each hopped onto their Torakko, moving around the venue to get closer to the audience. Fans waved their penlights, danced, and called out their names while Travis Japan smiled, waved back, and shared small gestures of fan service such as pointing, waving, throwing hearts, and making eye contact whenever possible.

The casual styling, the upbeat rhythm, and the membersโ€™ genuine smiles created a bright and easygoing atmosphere. The venue felt connected as one, and it was very nice to be able to see them up close.

I went to see them last year, too, but on this day it hit me again that if I think they look good behind the screens, they shine even brighter in person. Their smiles are radiant, and they look at us fans with so much warmth and kindness. As each of them passed our section, I was filled with happiness. I was glad I could come to see them again.

For “Dance With Me ๏ฝžLesson1๏ฝž,” the members moved to the stage at the far end of the venue, right near the fans of that section. A clear sound of a bell rang, and the seven members who had been scattered across the stage suddenly rushed toward the center. It felt like the signal that โ€œclassโ€ was about to begin, Travis Japanโ€™s own dance class!

True to its title, “Dance With Me ๏ฝžLesson1๏ฝž” started off like a dance lesson, led by Chaka. With his bright energy and charming presence, he went around โ€œfixingโ€ each memberโ€™s dance form, just like a real instructor. Then he greeted everyone with a cheerful โ€œSawadikhap!โ€,ย  a sweet local touch that made the local audience cheer and smile.

The choreography was simple and easy to follow, as if Travis Japan really wanted everyone to join in on their class. During the chorus, as they sang โ€œDance with me, come on dance with me,โ€ the entire venue moved together, waving their hands and dancing along.

It was such a warm, inviting performance; cute, energetic, and full of the groupโ€™s signature charm. You could really feel how much fun they were having sharing the moment with us, turning the whole concert into one big, joyful dance class.

After the fun dance lesson ended, the members of Travis Japan hopped back onto their Torakko, each moving along different routes so fans from every side of the venue could see them up close. It was such a thrill watching the Torakko glide by, this time with different members passing in front of us, waving and smiling brightly as the opening beats of “Underdogs” began to play.

Underdogs, a song produced by Noel, is such an uplifting, high-energy song, filled with fun rhythm and words of encouragement. To match the beat, the members started waving purple-gradient towels, specially designed for the Travis Japan 2025 VIIsual Tour. As the chorus hit, they twirled their towels high above their heads in perfect sync, filling the arena with a wave of purple.

They called out to the fans, asking everyone to join in, to wave their tour towels, or anything they had in hand. Instantly, the entire venue came alive. Towels, penlights, and hands moved together in rhythm, creating one huge, connected sea of motion. The energy was contagious. It truly felt like we were taking part in their performance, not just watching it.

Thatโ€™s one of the things that makes Travis Japan so special: they always find ways to include their fans, to make us feel like weโ€™re dancing with them, not just watching them. “Underdogs” turned into a celebration of unity, a performance that left everyone smiling and waving.

As soon as Travis Japan returned to the main stage, the upbeat energy of “Underdogs” smoothly transitioned into “Would You Like One?.” It is a song packed with playfulness and charm.

The stage instantly transformed into a vibrant, animal-themed playground. The choreography incorporated animal-like gestures; small hops, playful paw movements, and cute poses that perfectly captured the songโ€™s concept. The lighting shifted to bright, cheerful colors, and the screen behind them showed adorable animal motifs that matched the rhythm of the song.

Fans joined in with coordinated fan calls, shouting each memberโ€™s name during the chorus in perfect unison. The combination of their energetic movements, the colorful staging, and the audience participation made this part of the concert feel so lively and heartwarming, the kind of โ€œTravis Japan magicโ€ that leaves everyone smiling.

Towards the end of the song, Umi gestured to the members to run back to the centre stage, although confused, they all followed along. To their surprise, Umi led them to the camera at the centre stage, where they all quickly struck a pose. They managed to take a cute picture, amidst the surprise.

Would You Like One?” was a wonderful way to wrap up this fun segment of the show before the MC part began, where the boys took a breather and shared their thoughts and laughter with the crowd.

A group of performers from Travis Japan, seated on chairs in a spotlight, interact with the audience during their concert, with bright stage lights and a vibrant backdrop.

It was the MC section next, and they all walked back towards the main stage. Umi kicked things off by shouting, โ€œAre you guys having fun??โ€ which made the whole venue erupt with cheers of โ€œYeah!!!โ€ in agreement. Then he led the members while saying โ€œJust dance together, we are!!โ€ and all the members joined together for โ€œTravis Japan!!!โ€.

Shime, who seemed amazed by the sight of the venue, added, โ€œThis place is really bigโ€. Noel thanked the fans, saying, โ€œThank you for the sold-out show!โ€ And it was followed by so many thank yous from them.

Umi mentioned that it was the fourth time in Thailand. Machu followed with a big smile, saying, โ€œWe love it here.โ€

I could really feel how happy they were to be back.

Then they asked all of us to sit down and take a rest with them. While they were drinking from their TJ custom bottles (that are currently on sale), Genta suddenly asked, โ€œHow do you say โ€˜cheersโ€™ in Thai?โ€ The members leaned in, trying to listen to fans shouting the words from every corner of the arena.

The Thai was hard to catch, then Noel stepped in and suggested that we toast together in Japanese, led by Chaka. It was an inside joke between Travis Japan and the fans that Chaka would make a very long speech before the toast, to the point that we would have to put down our bottles and wait for him to finish. This time, as expected, the speech was long, but it was equally meaningful and funny. Afterwards, he awkwardly asked us to pick up our bottles (or to some penlights) and he ended his speechย  with โ€œโ€ฆand with that let us say CHEERSโ€

The whole venue erupted with happy โ€œCHEERS!โ€

Then Noel said, โ€œWeโ€™ll check the Thai later with our language translator. Maybe we can film it and post it on Travis Japanโ€™s Instagram.โ€ And they did, just after the concert ended, on their official Instagram, they cheered together in Thai! It was such a warm gesture.

After that, the members said they wanted to film a short video for social media and asked everyone to join the fan call for โ€œWould you like one?โ€ The audience practiced together, and the sound of thousands of voices echoing through the hall was pure fun.

Genta laughed, saying that everyone calling out was โ€œNaarak mai wai!โ€ (so cute I canโ€™t stand it!), which got the fans squealing. Shizu proudly shared that he had learned an essential Thai phrase, โ€œWhere is the toilet?โ€ and the crowd burst into laughter. Shime then added playfully, โ€œJa yut naarak gee mohnโ€ (When will you stop being so cute?), which made everyone scream even louder, while Machu sweetly said, โ€œKhun khue dao kong phohโ€ (Youโ€™re my shooting star).

Each memberโ€™s effort to speak Thai was adorable, and you could feel how much they cared about connecting with the fans. The entire segment was full of laughter, warmth, and the kind of closeness that makes Travis Japanโ€™s concerts so special.

They ended the MC with them taking a picture with us fans at the back, we raised our colorful uchiwa and smiled for the shot, โ€œThis is for our instagram!โ€ Machu announced it happily. โ€œPlease check it later!โ€

Just after their MC ended, Shizu hyped up the crowd and announced that they were going to sing “HBD! “This made me happy. It is a song produced by Shizu himself, and it has become a special piece for both Travis Japan and their fans. Ever since its release, “HBD” has been the song we use to celebrate birthdays, whether to celebrate the memberโ€™s birthdays or for one another.

Iโ€™ve always loved this idea; it feels like “HBD” could become an evergreen song, one that fits every birthday celebration perfectly. Itโ€™s not just a cheerful tune; it also carries a gentle, romantic undertone, making it feel personal and full of warmth. It is a perfect song we can dedicate to someone special.

One of the most charming parts of “HBD” is the hand choreography that everyone can follow. During the chorus, fans raised their hands in sync with Travis Japan, creating a sea of coordinated movements throughout the venue. The atmosphere turned festive, full of smiles and laughter.

Then Shizu reminded us that just a few days earlier, it had been Chakaโ€™s birthday, so of course, that meant we all got to celebrate with them! The members pointed at him with playful joy, and fans cheered loudly. Watching Chakaโ€™s shy smile as everyone celebrated him was such a sweet and heartwarming moment, a wonderful celebration to cherish together.

While singing “HBD,” the members slowly made their way back to the center stage. Amidst talking with fans and celebrating Chakaโ€™s birthday, they began arranging seven chairs across the stage. Everything flowed so naturally that by the time “HBD” ended, they were already seated and ready for the next song.

They then began performing one of Travis Japanโ€™s most beloved songs, “Okie Dokie!.” Itโ€™s such an uplifting song, one that always makes me feel like all my worries disappear whenever I listen to it. Normally, “Okie Dokie!” is a bright and poppy track, but for this world tour, they prepared a special acoustic version.

Hearing it performed this way felt fresh and touching. Their beautiful harmonies and heartfelt vocals highlighted the lyrics in a new way. What used to be a cheerful, upbeat song was now filled with warmth and sincerity, a new color that felt both gentle and powerful.

It showed how much they truly understand and love this song. To take something so familiar and give it new life, while still keeping its spirit intact, and to deliver it just as beautifully. “Okie Dokie! -Acoustic ver.-” became a quiet yet impactful moment in the concert, wrapping the venue in comfort and emotion.

โ€œSay I Doโ€ was a song made for Honno Switch, where Chaka played the lead role. As the song began, Chaka was playfully acting as Cupid. With a mischievous smile, he pretended to shoot arrows toward the other members, each of whom reacted with endearing gestures, from shy grins to playful poses, as if they had just been struck by love.

The members exchanged sweet looks and happy smiles throughout the song, creating a scene that perfectly matched the songโ€™s gentle melody and romantic lyrics about pure, sincere love.

Throughout the song, they took turns sitting and moving around the chairs, playfully interacting with one another while blending their choreography seamlessly with the lyrics. It was nice to see their expressions and gentle movements that made the performance glow with warmth, making โ€œSay I Doโ€ feel like a charming little story brought to life on stage.

The lights dimmed, and a wash of blue filled the stage, transforming the previously warm atmosphere into a cool, almost dreamlike ambiance. Machu opened “Fireflies” with an acapella rap, his voice echoing strongly through the venue and instantly drawing everyoneโ€™s attention. This was also part of the concert that I was really looking forward to. The new arrangement for the song was really good to listen to live. As he finished his part, the beat finally hit, and the other members began to join in while they were already back on the main stage, and began dancing.

This song featured intricate choreography filled with detailed movements, perfectly embodying Chakaโ€™s skill as both the producer and leader of Travis Japan. Known for his precision and deep passion for dance, Chaka crafted a performance that showcased the groupโ€™s remarkable unity and refined technique. Every step flowed seamlessly into the next, creating a mesmerizing scene that captured both the grace and strength that define Travis Japan.

TJ Remix

The lights dimmed once more, and Travis Japan disappeared behind the stage. Suddenly, the big screen lit up with a talking skull named TJ 2025โ€”wearing black sunglasses and outlined in neon lights. It entertained us with funny remarks, playful chants, and interactions that kept the audience engaged and laughing while we waited.

Moments later, Travis Japan returned to the stage, this time joined by several incredibly talented guest dance crews. The performance kicked off with Triple Kaito, consisting of Chakaโ€”(Miyachika) Kaito, Umiโ€”(Nakamura) Kaito, and Machuโ€”(Matsukura) Kaito, thus the unit name Triple Kaito, followed by Strawberry Milk, which consists of the others that didnโ€™t include the name Kaito (haha). They were joined by the local dance teams from Thailand, D Maniac Studio, and Bloc D. Each group showcased their own distinct style and energy, and finally, everyone came together in a massive, passionate collaboration for TJ Remix.

The entire stage transformed into a full-on party; lights flashing, beats thumping, and every performer giving their all. You could feel how much fun both Travis Japan and the dancers were having together. At the end, each dance group shared a short speech, expressing their joy and appreciation. It was not only an energetic and exciting segment but also a genuinely heartwarming moment that celebrated teamwork, connection, and shared passion for dance.

Even before the excitement of the last TJ Remix ended, the dance theme continued seamlessly with their next song, “Thrill“, ย a track produced by Shime, known for its seductive lyrics and alluring choreography. With the striking black and gold costumes, the members exuded confidence and mystery, their fierce expressions drawing us in as if tempting us into something dangerously irresistible.

Their every movement was smooth, perfectly matching the sultry rhythm of the song. The choreography captured the essence of the lyrics so well that it felt like watching a story unfold, one that balanced elegance and intensity in every beat. We couldnโ€™t help but scream, especially during the more daring moments of the performance.

It was the perfect follow-up to TJ Remix, keeping the momentum alive while showing off a different, more mature side of Travis Japan. And as the last notes of “Thrill” faded, it felt like the closing chapter of the dance-heavy section, setting the stage for what was to come next: performances that would transport us into an entirely new world.

The lights went out again, and the sudden rumble of thunder echoed, almost shaking the whole venue. Slowly, the sound of traditional Japanese instruments began to fill the air, transforming the entire atmosphere. It was as if we had been transported into another world; mysterious, powerful, and paying homage to traditional Japanese sounds.

Through the darkness, Travis Japan appeared, cloaked in black. The lights were so dim that we could barely make out their movements as they stepped back onto the stage. Then, the LED lights lining their cloaks flickered to life, revealing glimpses of white katsura; the traditional wigs worn by kabuki actors. The sight was striking and elegant, blending tradition with a modern edge that only Travis Japan could pull off. Behind them the background video was playing colourful Japanese motifs and designs, injecting vibrant colors as their backdrop.

I watched as they began to dance to “99 PERCENT -ๅ’Œver.-,” a completely new arrangement that merged the original pop sound with the essence of Wa. The familiar rhythm was reimagined through the tones of shamisen, taiko drums, and flutes, creating a bold yet graceful performance. Their movements were strong and deliberate, every step filled with power and emotion. It felt like watching the spirit of Japan come alive through contemporary dance, an incredible fusion of East and West that left us breathless.

99 PERCENT -ๅ’Œver.-” ended with a bang. I was still completely focused on their performance when I suddenly noticed that three large taiko drums had been brought onto the stage. My excitement grew because I knew exactly what was coming next, it was “VOLCANO -Japanese ver.-,” which always begins with Gentaโ€™s powerful taiko solo.

Genta appeared on stage, and to everyoneโ€™s surprise, he came out shirtless. Iโ€™d like to blame it on the hot weather, but honestly, he only made the temperature rise even more! The moment he appeared, the whole venue erupted in screams. But as soon as he started playing the taiko, we watched in awe. Every strike of the drum was filled with strength and passion, the sound reverberated through the hall, and we couldnโ€™t look away.

Soon after, the other members returned to the stage (thankfully, all of them with clothes on, otherwise, I think the entire venue wouldโ€™ve gone into chaos, haha). The music began, and they launched into “VOLCANO,” one of Travis Japanโ€™s most intense dance numbers. They have many powerful songs, but “VOLCANO” especially stands out because of its explosive choreography. During the chorus, the members leap as high as they can with their arms spread wide, almost as if theyโ€™re about to take flight.

I watched “VOLCANO” in complete admiration. The energy, the synchronization, the heat โ€” everything came together perfectly. It was a truly explosive performance that kept all eyes glued to the stage to the end.

Video Interlude

After “VOLCANO” ended, it truly felt like we all needed a breather. Thankfully, they must have sensed that too, because another interlude video began to play on the big screen. In this clip, the members appeared dressed in sleek black glittering suits, gathered around a poker table.

The video reminded me of their commentary bonus clip from their VIIsual DVD concert that was released after their tour in Japan ended (which is still on sale). They had admitted they were all beginners at pokerโ€”except for Noelโ€”and didnโ€™t really understand the rules.

Watching this new video with that in mind made it even funnier, because you could tell they were relying entirely on their expressions and reactions to make the scene work.

Even so, the editing, the lighting, and their acting all came together beautifully, creating a bold and stylish transition. It set the stage perfectly for the next performance, while giving us fans a few moments to catch our breath, because after all that excitement, we really needed it.

Even so they didnโ€™t rest long. As the video faded to black, the lights on stage flared up, Travis Japan stood in a perfect line, matching the ending pose from the screen. The crowd immediately erupted into cheers. Chaka raised his voice and shouted, โ€œLetโ€™s go!โ€, setting the stage ablaze with excitement. Travis Japan, including us fans, were still so energetic.

The moment the first beat of “BO$$Y” dropped, the energy in the venue shot right back up. Itโ€™s one of those songs that never fails to get everyone fired up. Personally, itโ€™s one of my favorite Travis Japan numbers, the choreography is so intricate and fast-paced that it always leaves me wondering how they manage to perform it so flawlessly after so many songs. Yet, they never miss a beat.

Their movements were sharp and powerful, each member hitting their marks perfectly while shifting through complex formations that made it look as if they were gliding across the stage. The precision, synchronization, and intensity were simply breathtaking. The whole performance felt like a surge of power โ€” a true showcase of Travis Japanโ€™s strength as dancers and performers.

Even after so many high-energy numbers, they performed “BO$$Y” with unwavering spirit, filling the entire venue with explosive energy. It was one of those moments that reminded me why I fell in love with their performances in the first place.

As soon as the song ended, the members thanked us warmly, and Chaka shouted with all his energy, โ€œThis is our show from Japan!!!โ€ In that moment, I could truly feel how proud they were of the craft they had presented to us. I couldnโ€™t help but cheer, it was such a remarkable and emotional time.

Through every song, they painted amazing scenery and stirred so many emotions that words alone couldnโ€™t capture; it was something that could only be felt by watching them live on stage.

They are a group deeply proud of their roots, yet always eager to share that pride and passion with fans all over the world. Every song in their set was performed with immense love and dedication, and as “BO$$Y” came to an end, a wave of emotion washed over me. It hit me that this was their final stop for the VIIsuaL World Tour and no one knew when we would get to see them again.

But the concert wasnโ€™t over yet. The atmosphere in the venue was filled with emotion, the audience still buzzing from how perfectly the concert flowed, it felt like it was over in a flash. None of us wanted it to end, so as one, the crowd began to chant, โ€œTORAJA! TORAJA!โ€ calling them back to the stage once more.

ENCORE

The moment the intro began, I instantly knew what was coming โ€” “My Dreamy Hollywood.” This song holds such deep meaning for both Travis Japan and their fans. It was the very first song they performed together as a unit, long before their official debut, and it carries the weight of their journey and dreams. From those early days, they worked tirelessly, chasing their ambitions across the ocean until they finally made their debut with Capitol Records in Hollywood.

Itโ€™s also the song they performed on Americaโ€™s Got Talent, a moment that marked a turning point for them. Hearing it live again felt like reliving that incredible journey, a reminder of how far theyโ€™ve come and how much theyโ€™ve grown, yet still staying true to their roots. The lyrics themselves feel like a declaration of their dreams, sung out proudly for the world to hear.

And, of course, Noelโ€™s signature backflip was a highlight once again. He does it so effortlessly, so beautifully, that no matter how many times Iโ€™ve seen it, Iโ€™m always amazed. Watching them perform “My Dreamy Hollywood” was emotional; it wasnโ€™t just a performance, it was a celebration of their history, their determination, and the dreams they continue to chase.

In “JUST DANCE!,” they continued walking around the venue, giving fan service and interacting with everyone they passed. The entire space was glowing with excitement, and it felt like every fan was connected through that shared joy.

During the interlude of the song, all the members raised their hands, signaling for us to join in. That was the cue for the famous โ€œPiro Bun Danceโ€! Instantly, the whole venue followed, mimicking their moves in perfect rhythm. As they chanted, โ€œPiro Piro Bun Bun, Piro Piro Bun Bun,โ€ and ended with โ€œMahou!โ€ meaning magic in Japanese. It truly felt as if they were casting a spell across the venue.

In that moment, everyone was smiling so brightly, fans and members alike. The energy was lighthearted and full of fun, as if the whole arena had become one big family dancing together. It was the kind of magic that only Travis Japan could create; playful, warm, and unforgettable.

W Encore

It truly felt like the show had ended, but none of us were ready to leave. The excitement still pulsed through the air, and together, we began calling out to them again. The energy from the audience was unstoppable โ€” loud, united, and full of love.

To our delight, Travis Japan returned to the stage once more. With a bright smile, Chaka asked, โ€œYou guys still donโ€™t want to go home?โ€ The whole venue erupted in cheers of agreement. Laughing, he nodded and said, โ€œI know, I know,โ€ completely understanding how we felt. Then came a playful moment where they teased us, pretending they might head backstage again unless we cheered louder. We all laughed and shouted our loudest โ€œYEAH!!โ€ โ€” desperate to keep them with us just a little longer.

Then Noel smiled and said they actually had one more song for us. But before they could start, he asked us to give the loudest cheer we possibly could. The entire venue roared, and with a small jump, Chaka introduced the next song โ€” โ€œUnique Tigers!!โ€

The song burst to life with energy, the perfect finale for a night that had already been unforgettable. They danced and sang with joy that radiated through every corner of the arena, their movements filled with playful charm and gratitude. It was the kind of moment that made you forget everything else โ€” just pure connection between artist and fan.

As the song ended, they gathered once more at the center of the main stage, forming a line. With bright smiles, they told us that as a thank you, they would all shout โ€œArigatou!โ€ (Thank you!) together, and wanted us to reply โ€œDouitashimashite!โ€ (My pleasure!) in return. Itโ€™s a sweet and heartwarming tradition between Travis Japan and their fans, one that always makes my heart full. Watching them thank us so earnestly, without microphones, using only their voices, I couldnโ€™t help but think that we should be the ones thanking them for such an incredible night.

As they waved and slowly made their way backstage, the venue filled with countless โ€œthank yousโ€ and promises to return again. Just before disappearing, Noel turned to Umi and said warmly, โ€œThank you, Umi!โ€,ย  a touching nod to him as the overall producer of the tour.

Umi smiled, clearly moved, and bowed deeply to the audience. Seeing his relief and pride that the tour had ended safely made us clap and cheer even louder. He truly created something to be proud of, and we wanted him to feel that love back from us.

When the lights dimmed for the final time, I was overcome with emotion. I had one of the best times of my life , and yet, as the reality sank in that it was over, I already missed them. It was bittersweet.

Every time I get to see Travis Japan live, it feels like spending time with everything I love about music, dance, and basking in the happiness that radiates from a group of people that I adore. They fill the stage not just with skill and passion, but with warmth and genuine connection. Their performances go beyond entertainment,ย  they create a space where we all become one, where laughter, excitement, and love flow freely between the members and the fans.

It was truly a wonderful time. I left the venue feeling proud, moved, and inspired. I hope more people around the world will fall in love with Travis Japan the same way we have, and that theyโ€™ll continue to reach new places, meeting even more fans who will cheer for them with all their hearts.
